RUMINA are an intriguing Manchester-based duo whose music explores elements of indie rock and folk with an electronic influence. Having been playlisted by Spotify with their first project Botanica (2021) and fresh off performances at Amsterdam Bangs, Un-Convention, and Ramsbottom Come Together Festival, RUMINA are building excitement leading up to the release of new music, including songs recorded in collaboration with Attitude is Everything, PPL and LayFullStop and a batch of singles recorded at SAE Institute London.

Vocalist and instrumentalist, Lu provides intimate performances that blur the line between serenity and uneasiness, accompanied by intricate detailing from Solle’s guitars, pianos, and synthesisers. Surrounding themes of identity and growth, RUMINA’s songs build on both members’ unique styles and inspirations, creating ethereal tracks that build a hypnotic musical momentum. Their upcoming releases feature heavy layers of guitar, building bass lines, electrocuting percussion amongst emotionally textured beds of saxophone and haunting vocals that add an intense otherworldliness.
